High on my list of places to visit before I die. The botanical garden was started in 1859. It grew into the huge botanical garden it is today by the 1980's. There is a great virtual tour online. Lots of gardening tips can be found here. I like the Web address! |

San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden |
This is destined to be a world-class showcase of Mediteranean climate plants right here between San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay along Highway 1. They are still a fledgling botanical garden presently with only 2 acres of a preview garden. Check out their master plan. |
